Eric Stribog Prince Mayen

01.
I’m Eric Stribog Prince Mayen -a visual storyteller born in Köln, Germany, now based in Oświęcim, Poland. I first picked up a camera at seven, inspired by my father’s passion for capturing the world around him. Through moves across borders and the upheaval of the COVID-19 pandemic, photography has been my constant companion. Whenever I travel, my camera comes with me, ready to freeze moments that deserve a closer look.
I don’t pose or stage my shots. I respond to what I see. Everything I photograph is exactly as I spotted it – in natural light, from an angle that reveals something new. My aim is to show you the hidden details and unexpected beauty that most of us glide past every day. By framing landscapes, urban textures, and fleeting encounters, I hope to invite you to slow down and see the world with fresh eyes.
In just eighteen year, and shared my work in 21 exhibitions. Each image is part of my ongoing search for those overlooked perspectives – and I can’t wait to find the next one.

What I am awesome at
Compositional Precision
Lines, curves, and geometric forms guide every frame. I balance symmetry and tension to turn ordinary structures into visual statements.
Narrative Ambiguity
My shots hint at stories without spelling them out—inviting you to bring your own memories and meanings into each image.
Hidden Perspectives
I hunt down angles and moments others pass by, revealing layers of meaning in the everyday
Unstaged Authenticity
I capture scenes exactly as they unfold, embracing unplanned moments and genuine interactions to let each image tell its own story.
